MARCO MORENO
Marco Moreno, a 50-year-old Israeli native, has built a distinguished 25-year career in the Israeli Defense Forces, reaching the rank of Lieutenant Colonel and serving as a senior commander in a classified unit.
Marco's military career highlights his dedication to the security of Israel. He was the architect of “Operation Good Neighbor" alongside the IDF's Division 210 of the Northern Command, a groundbreaking international aid initiative launched in June 2016. This operation provided vital humanitarian assistance to Syrian citizens affected by the ongoing Syrian Civil War. Marco significantly contributed to the establishment and success of this operation, which exemplifies Israel's commitment to providing aid and support to those in need, even amidst regional conflict.
Currently, Marco serves as the Director of Frontier Alliance International (FAI) Israel and offers his expertise as a consultant to the International Christian Embassy Jerusalem (ICEJ), promoting understanding and collaboration between different communities.
Marco has been featured frequently on major news networks in Israel as a specialist in Security, discussing the events surrounding the October 7 war and the state of Israel today. He has served as a commentator and expert in the field for nightly news shows.
With a Bachelor of Arts degree in Security Studies and Public Administration from Bar Ilan University, Marco’s expertise is in matters of national security and governance. He is also an expert in briefing the geopolitical landscape of Israeli security. Marco is fluent in Hebrew and Arabic, and proficient in English.
Outside of his professional pursuits, Marco is a devoted husband of 26 years and a proud father of three. His family steadfastly supports his contributions to Israel and its people.
